Jay Skinner is the owner and founder of Skinner Construction, a trusted residential remodeling company serving homeowners throughout Nashville and the surrounding Middle Tennessee area. With more than 15 years of experience in home renovation, custom remodeling, and construction, Jay is dedicated to delivering high-quality craftmanship and dependable service on every project.

Jay's construction background began early, working alongside his father and brother in their family landscaping business throughout his childhood and teenage years. As a young man, Jay apprenticed directly under a master carpenter, a commercial foreman, and a custom home builder. It was during these years that Jay discovered a passion for hands-on residential remodeling and went on to found a remodeling company in Little Rock, Arkansas with his brother in 2010. After eight successful years of completing interior and exterior remodeling projects and outdoor living spaces in Little Rock, Jay recognized the opportunity for continued growth in Nashville, Tennessee--a rapidly growing city with expanding suburbs and increasing demand for quality residential construction.

After moving to Nashville with his wife in 2018, Jay founded Skinner Construction with a commitment to helping local homeowners transform their spaces through reliable workmanship, clear communication, and attention to detail. Since then, the company has built a strong reputation throughout the Nashville area for delivering beautiful, functional, renovations tailored to each client's vision, lifestyle, and long-term needs.
